How Toyota EV batteries age
Toyota came late to full battery-electric cars and the bZ4X is its only mainstream one, engineered conservatively with a large gap between usable and total capacity, so gradual capacity loss is not the headline worry. The things to check on a used one are the 2022 wheel-hub recall and the car’s fairly modest rapid-charging speed, especially in cold weather, rather than the battery wearing out.
