Peace of mind for your used EV

Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you and EV All Day Ltd ("we", "our", "us", or "the Service"). By accessing and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

EV All Day offers vehicle checking services - including the Used EV Check (battery health and real-world range for used electric cars), manufacturer dealership service records, and, where purchased, vehicle provenance data (finance, write-off, stolen markers and more) supplied by Experian.

2. Service Description

2.1 What We Provide

EV All Day sells the following products:

  • Used EV Check (£9.99): for used electric cars, an estimate of battery health and real-world range now versus when new, estimated battery degradation, remaining manufacturer battery warranty, plus charging, running-cost, efficiency, specification/safety and full MOT/mileage history. Requires a UK registration mark and current mileage. Electric cars only. Battery and range figures are estimates (see Section 3.7).
  • Service History Check (£9.99): official manufacturer dealership service records for 39 car brands, MOT history with mileage timeline, and basic vehicle details. Coverage for vehicles from Model Year 2012 onwards.
  • Vehicle History Check (£14.99): outstanding finance check, insurance write-off and salvage history, police and insurance stolen-vehicle markers, mileage anomaly indicators, plate and colour change history, high-risk markers, and additional vehicle details. Provenance data is sourced from Experian.
  • Full Vehicle Check (£19.99): the Service History Check and Vehicle History Check bundled into one report, with a £5 saving versus buying separately.
  • Full EV Check (£29.99): coming soon - the Used EV Check bundled with vehicle provenance (service history and HPI-style write-off, stolen and finance data). Not yet available for purchase.
  • Lifetime access to purchased reports via unique URLs.

2.2 What We Do NOT Provide

Our reports do not include:

  • Independent (non-dealership) garage service records
  • Accident or damage history outside of insurance write-off records
  • Vehicle valuation, condition or inspection services
  • Title or ownership transfer guarantees
  • A measured battery State-of-Health for the Used EV Check (we give an estimated range-retention figure and, where a manufacturer test record exists, a battery-health grade - not an OBD-measured battery test)
  • Any guaranteed range figure - all Used EV Check range figures are estimates
  • Vehicle provenance (finance, write-off, stolen or previous-keeper data) within the Used EV Check
  • Checks on electric vans or non-electric vehicles via the Used EV Check (electric cars only)

The Service History Check shows only services performed at authorized franchise dealerships. The Vehicle History Check is a snapshot of third-party records at the time the report was generated and is not a guarantee of clear title. The Used EV Check covers electric cars only and provides estimates, not a physical or OBD inspection (see Section 3.7).

3. Service Limitations

Section 3.7 applies to the Used EV Check. Sections 3.1-3.3 apply to the Service History Check. Sections 3.4-3.6 apply to the Vehicle History Check. The Full Vehicle Check contains both service-history and provenance data, so both sets of limitations apply.

3.1 Coverage Limitations

  • Model Year: Generally limited to vehicles from 2012 onwards (manufacturer-specific)
  • Geographic Coverage: Primarily European market vehicles
  • Supported Brands: 39 manufacturers (see homepage for full list)
  • Service Type: Only authorized dealership services are recorded

3.2 Data Accuracy

We retrieve data from official manufacturer databases through authorized third-party data providers. EV All Day uses industry-leading data sources to access manufacturer dealership service records. While we strive for accuracy:

  • We rely on data provided by manufacturer systems
  • We cannot guarantee completeness if dealerships failed to log services
  • Manufacturer database availability may vary
  • Some manufacturers provide limited information (e.g., "workshop remarks only")

3.3 Third-Party Data Providers

EV All Day retrieves manufacturer service history data through authorized third-party data providers who have direct access to manufacturer databases. While we use industry-leading providers to ensure data quality:

  • We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy or completeness of manufacturer-provided records
  • Data availability is subject to manufacturer database systems and their third-party access policies
  • EV All Day is not liable for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in data provided by manufacturer databases or our data providers
  • Service history data reflects what was recorded by authorized dealerships at the time of service

3.4 Vehicle History Check - Third-Party Data Sources

The information provided in the Vehicle History Check is sourced from third-party data providers, including but not limited to:

  • Experian - finance agreements, write-off and salvage data, stolen-vehicle records and indemnity cover
  • Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) - vehicle registration, tax and basic vehicle data
  • Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) - MOT history and vehicle recall data
  • Police National Computer (PNC) - police stolen-vehicle records, accessed via authorised providers
  • Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR) - insurance stolen-vehicle records, accessed via authorised providers

We do not own, control, or verify the accuracy of data held by these third-party sources. The information we provide is only as accurate and complete as the data supplied to us by these providers.

3.5 Vehicle History Check - Data Accuracy Caveats

Important - please read this section carefully. While we endeavour to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no warranties, representations or guarantees (whether express, implied or statutory) regarding the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any third-party data; whether the information is current or has been updated by our data providers; the absence of errors, omissions or inaccuracies; or whether all relevant information about a vehicle has been reported to the appropriate databases.

Reasons why data may be incomplete or inaccurate include:

  • Not all finance agreements are registered with finance databases
  • Stolen vehicles may not be reported to police, or may be reported with incorrect details
  • Write-offs may not be recorded if not claimed through insurance
  • There may be delays between events occurring and data being updated in third-party databases
  • Historical records may be incomplete, especially for older vehicles
  • Human error in data entry at any point in the data chain
  • Vehicles imported from outside the UK may have limited history

Our reports should be used as one part of your due diligence when purchasing a vehicle, not as the sole basis for your decision. Always conduct a physical inspection, verify documents (V5C, MOT certificates, service history) and consider an independent mechanical check before purchase.

3.6 Experian Data Guarantee and Indemnity

Certain data within the Vehicle History Check - outstanding finance, stolen status and insurance write-off information - is provided by Experian. Experian offers indemnity cover in relation to that data, subject to the current Experian Data Guarantee terms. The cover amount and term that applies to a specific report is shown in the "Indemnity" section of that report.

This guarantee and any associated indemnity coverage is provided directly by Experian, not by EV All Day Ltd. We do not administer, process or handle any indemnity claims. Any claims under this guarantee must be made directly to Experian in accordance with their procedures, and are subject to specific conditions and exclusions set by Experian.

3.7 Used EV Check - Data Sources and Estimates

The Used EV Check combines data from three independent sources, accessed via the OneAuto API:

  • ClearWatt - battery health, estimated degradation, expected range now versus when new, remaining battery warranty and battery capacity. ClearWatt is the single source of truth for every range figure shown.
  • EV Database - charging, running-cost, efficiency and specification/safety data. This data enriches the report; where EV Database does not hold a particular detail for a vehicle, that section is simply omitted and the rest of the report is unaffected.
  • Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) - MOT history and mileage record.

Battery and range figures are estimates. Range figures are based on aggregated test data; estimated degradation is a range-based estimate, not a laboratory measurement; and the battery-health grade is shown only where a manufacturer test record exists and is a letter grade, not a measured battery State-of-Health percentage. Actual real-world results vary with driving style, weather, terrain and battery condition. We do not guarantee any range figure.

Battery and range data is powered by ClearWatt. As required by ClearWatt: "Estimated range is based upon aggregated test data and actual vehicle performance may vary. For more information please consult ClearWatt's Terms and Conditions."

Eligibility. Before payment, we verify that the vehicle is an electric car we hold data for, using an EV Database match on the registration you enter. Electric vans and non-electric vehicles are not eligible and are blocked before any payment is taken, so ineligible vehicles are never charged.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Fees

Our current prices are:

  • Used EV Check: £9.99 per vehicle
  • Service History Check: £9.99 per vehicle
  • Vehicle History Check: £14.99 per vehicle
  • Full Vehicle Check: £19.99 per vehicle (£5 saving versus buying separately)
  • Full EV Check: £29.99 per vehicle (coming soon - not yet available for purchase)

Each fee is a one-time payment providing lifetime access to the resulting report.

4.2 Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept major credit and debit cards
  • Payment must be completed before report generation
  • All prices include applicable UK VAT

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already paid for.

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds when we are unable to generate your report. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that service history records and provenance records may not be available for all vehicles, and that the absence of records is itself useful information.

Section 5.6 applies to the Used EV Check. Sections 5.1-5.4 apply to the Service History Check. Section 5.5 applies to the Vehicle History Check. For the Full Vehicle Check, each component is treated under the rules for its respective product.

5.1 Full Refund Cases

You will receive a complete £9.99 refund in the following scenarios:

  • VIN Not Found: The VIN you provided does not exist in manufacturer databases (entry error, imported from outside Europe, not registered in systems).
  • Unsupported Vehicle: Your vehicle make, model, or year is not covered by our service (pre-2012, unsupported brand, commercial vehicle).
  • Manufacturer Database Unavailable: We cannot access the manufacturer's database due to technical issues, system outages, or API access problems.
  • Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same report twice within a short timeframe.

In these cases: We will process the refund within 24-48 hours.

5.2 No Refund Cases

We cannot offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Report Shows 1+ Service Records: If your report shows one or more service records, even if fewer than expected, this demonstrates dealership history exists. No refund applies.
  • User Error - Incorrect VIN Entry: If you enter the wrong VIN and we successfully generate a report for that VIN, no refund is available. The service was provided correctly based on the VIN you submitted. Tip: Always double-check your VIN before purchasing.
  • Change of Mind After Viewing Report: Once you've accessed and viewed the report (with 1+ records), you cannot request a refund simply because you changed your mind. The service has been delivered.
  • Misunderstanding of Product Scope: The Service History Check covers manufacturer dealership records and MOT history for UK vehicles. If you bought it expecting outstanding finance, write-off or stolen-marker data — those are included in our separate Vehicle History Check — this does not qualify for a refund.
  • Third-Party Issues Beyond Our Control: If you cannot access your report due to email filtering, spam blocks, or internet connectivity issues on your end, no refund is available. We can resend your report link to resolve access issues.

5.3 Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at hello@evallday.com within 30 days of purchase
  2. Include your VIN or registration and email address used for the order
  3. Briefly explain why you're requesting a refund (e.g., "zero records found")
  4. We will review your request within 24-48 hours
  5. If approved, refunds are processed via Stripe and appear on your card within 5-10 business days

5.4 Refund Approval

Refunds are approved at our discretion based on the criteria outlined above. We reserve the right to investigate suspicious refund requests or patterns of abuse.

5.5 Vehicle History Check Refunds

The Vehicle History Check incurs a per-check cost payable by us to Experian as soon as data is returned. Because of this, refunds for the Vehicle History Check are not provided once a report has been successfully generated and delivered — including where the report shows no adverse markers, or where you are dissatisfied with the contents.

You may be eligible for a full refund of the Vehicle History Check in the following cases:

  • No data retrieved: Experian and our other providers were unable to return any data for the registration you provided.
  • Technical failure: a fault on our end prevented your report from being generated or delivered.
  • Duplicate charge: you were charged more than once for the same report due to a system error.
  • Incorrect registration entered by us: we processed a registration different from the one you submitted at checkout.

Refunds will not be provided where the registration was entered incorrectly by you and we generated a report for the registration you submitted, where you change your mind after viewing the report, or where you are dissatisfied with information sourced from third-party databases (see Section 3.5).

To request a Vehicle History Check refund, follow the process in Section 5.3 within 14 days of your purchase.

5.6 Used EV Check Refunds

The Used EV Check depends on battery and range data from ClearWatt. If ClearWatt has no battery/range record for your vehicle, the report cannot be produced - in that case no report is generated and you are automatically and fully refunded the £9.99, with an email confirmation. Because eligibility is verified before payment (see Section 3.7), ineligible vehicles - electric vans and non-electric vehicles - are blocked before any charge is taken, so no refund is needed for them.

Refunds are not available for the Used EV Check in the following cases:

  • Report generated successfully: once a report has been produced, no refund applies - including where you are dissatisfied with the estimated figures. Battery-health, degradation and range figures are estimates, which you acknowledge at checkout.
  • Change of mind after viewing: once you have accessed and viewed your report, the digital service has been delivered and cannot be returned.
  • User error: if you enter the wrong registration or mileage and we generate a report based on what you submitted, no refund is available.

To request a Used EV Check refund, follow the process in Section 5.3 within 30 days of your purchase.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant report
  • Indemnity cover relating to Experian-supplied data is provided by Experian directly, as described in Section 3.6, and is outside our liability
  • We do not warrant that manufacturer or third-party databases are complete or error-free

Important: Our service is one tool for evaluating vehicles. Always conduct a physical inspection, test drive, and consider independent mechanical checks before purchasing a used car.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason
  • Terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms
  • Discontinue the Service at any time (with reasonable notice)

Reports you've already purchased will remain accessible even if we discontinue the Service generally.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EV All Day regarding use of the Service.
